Stephen Daldry ('The Crown,' Billy Elliot, The Inheritance) directs his National Theatre of Great Britain's landmark production of J.B. Priestley's classic thriller An Inspector Calls, hailed as the theatrical event of its generation and winner of an unprecedented number of awards, including three Olivier's, four Tony's and seven Drama Desk Awards, with an exclusive West Coast engagement at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts from Tuesday, January 22 to Sunday, February 10, 2019.

Bill Kenwright presents the latest instalment in the hugely successful Classic Thriller Theatre Company. 'Master of Suspense' Alfred Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes will open at Theatre Royal Windsor on 9 January 2019 and will star husband and wife Juliet Mills and Maxwell Caulfield.

Until director Stephen Daldry rediscovered J.B. Priestley's 'An Inspector Calls,' it had been relegated to dull British backwaters as ho-hum sub-Agatha Christie drawing room fare.

ArtsEmerson, Boston's leading presenter of contemporary world theatre, is honored to welcome the first-ever U.S. tour of J.B. Priestley's classic theatrical event, An Inspector Calls. Returning to direct his National Theatre masterpiece revival is Stephen Daldry (Oscar-nominated director of The Reader, The Hours and Billy Elliot) who also brings the iconic grand-scale set from the West End to Boston. This production of An Inspector Calls is the longest running revival of a play in history, seen by over 4 million theatregoers worldwide and winning an unprecedented number of awards including three Olivier Awards, four Tony Awards and seven Drama Desk Awards.

Winner of 19 major accolades, including multiple Tony, Olivier and Drama Desk Awards, Stephen Daldry's (Billy Elliot, The Crown) multi award-winning production of J.B. Priestley's classic thriller An Inspector Calls will kick off a four-city U.S. tour at Shakespeare Theatre Company from November 20 through December 23, 2018.

We Won't Pay!, Deborah McAndrew's new adaptation transposed to Brexit Britain of Dario Fo's political satire of civil disobedience Can't Pay? Won't Pay!

The Helliwells, the Parkers and the Soppitts are highly respected pillars of their community... but not for much longer. Married on the same day in the same chapel, they gather to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. The celebrations are short-lived when they discover the vicar wasn't licensed, and they are actually... not married. In fact, they have been living in sin for 25 years.
