NYLON FUSION THEATRE COMPANY and CLOVERLEAF COLLECTIVE are excited to share a first look at Lowell Byers' LUFT GANGSTER, directed by Tony Award winning director Austin Pendleton (Broadway's The Little Foxes, The Runner Stumbles, Shelter, Spoils of War). LUFT GANGSTER began performances Friday, March 31 at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10012) for a limited run through Sunday, April 16. Opening Night is Saturday, April 1 at 8:00pm.

NYLON FUSION THEATRE COMPANY and CLOVERLEAF COLLECTIVE are pleased to present the return of Lowell Byers' LUFT GANGSTER, directed by Tony Award winning director Austin Pendleton (Broadway's The Little Foxes, The Runner Stumbles, Shelter, Spoils of War). LUFT GANGSTER will play a limited engagement at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10012) as part of their 'War Is Hell' Theatre Series (recently featured in New York Magazine's 'Things To Do in NY'). Performances begin Friday, March 31 and continue through Sunday, April 16. Opening Night is Saturday, April 1 (8 p.m.).

T. Schreiber Theatre (TST) proudly presents 'The Fourth Annual Schreiber Shorts: An Evening of One Acts' January 25th and runs through February 11th. The 10-minute play series will feature works by 10 playwrights, selected from nearly 1000 submissions in a nationwide playwriting competition. Curated and produced by Halle Morse and Megan Grace, 'The Schreiber Shorts' marks the second production of TST' 2016-17 season. From August 28 to September 18, 2016 Theater for the New City (TNC), under the direction of Crystal Field, Artistic Director, will present its seventh Dream Up Festival, a feast of adventurous theater featuring new works from across the country and abroad. From March 12 to April 2, August Strindberg Repertory will present Strindberg's 'Damascus II,' adapted by Edgar Chisholm, directed by Robert Greer. This is the second installment of the three-part work in which Strindberg first introduced true surrealism to the stage in the theatrical representation of the dream. Strindberg's tale of life in decadent artists' circles of 1890s Sweden will be brought to life in 1960s California and its leading character, an alienated writer, has been re-envisioned as an author modeled on Amiri Baraka.

An aynredenish -- an obsession -- is worse than a disease, say our Yiddish elders. 'Half Moon Bay' by John Jiler is a drama about a prize-winning Manhattan architect whose sudden fixation on a mysterious waitress sabotages his marriage and his career and causes him to abandon his ideals. Its world premiere, directed by Margarett Perry, will be presented by Nylon Fusion Theatre Company from October 3 to 25 at New Ohio Theatre, 154 Christopher Street.
