A Sherlock Carol, a new holiday play, has announced the show’s creative team featuring scenic design by Tony Award nominee Anna Louizos (School of Rock, In the Heights), costume design by Tony Award winner Linda Cho (Take Me Out, Anastasia), lighting design by Obie Award-winner Rui Rita (Skeleton Crew, Velocity of Autumn), and more.

Florida Repertory Theatre's 2020 PlayLab Festival of New Works continues with a reading of 'A Sherlock Carol' by Mark Shanahan on Dec. 10 at 7 PM, and brings together an all-star cast of Broadway veterans, a Tony-nominee, and Florida Rep's ensemble members. The final event of the festival is the Playwrights' Panel discussion held live on Zoom Dec. 11 at 3:30 PM.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of 'Mrs. Mannerly,' a comedy about a young boy and his manners teacher, by Jeffrey Hatcher, on Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. The cast includes award-winning Broadway, film, and television actors Isabel Keating as Mrs. Mannerly, and Richard Kind as Jeffrey. Co-curators and co-directors of the Script in Hand Series are Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist, and Mark Shanahan, director, actor, and playwright. Tickets to Script in Hand Playreadings are $20 each.
