The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announced the complete schedule for the 2009 Festival, which will begin September 28th and continue through October 18th. A full breakdown of this year's performances and venues follows.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival will reteam with The ASCAP Foundation to present the its annual Educational Series at Barnes and Noble Booksellers at Lincoln Triangle, 1972 Broadway at 66th Street.

Isaac Robert Hurwitz (Executive Director & Producer of NYMF) announced that The New York Musical Theater Festival will partner with South Korea's Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) by introducing a production exchange, beginning with this year's festival.

In addition to the previously announced 27 full productions, The New York Musical Theatre Festival (Isaac Robert Hurwitz, Executive Director & Producer) today announced two dance productions, nine special events and concerts, and three developmental readings that will all take place during this year?s three-week festival.

The New York Musical Theater Festival honored producer Robyn Goodman at its Fifth Anniversary Season Awards Gala on Sunday, November 2nd at The Hudson Theatre.

On Sunday October 5th, The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) concluded its fifth year, a year which featured 24 full productions, a dance series, a developmental series, concerts and special events. To celebrate the successful 2008 Festival, NYMF'S BROADWAY PROM took place that same evening Sunday 5th 2008 at TOUCH (240 W 53nd Street) from 8PM to 12am.
