Hollywood blogger Army Archerd, powered by Variety.com, reports that Julie Andrews will return to Broadway as a director in the musical stage-adaptation of her book 'The Great American Mousical,' which she co-wrote with daughter Emma Walton Hamilton.

Bay Street Theatre will present a special Benefit Concert Reading of Simeon's Gift, narrated by Julie Andrews, on Monday, July 30th at 7 pm, at The Whalers Church in Sag Harbor.

A private concert reading of Simeon's Gift, a new family musical by Julie Andrews Edwards and Emma Walton Hamilton, took place at Bay Street Theatre on February 10. It was the first event of Bay Street's Family Theatre Initiative. The show is being developed for full production next November at Bay Street Theatre followed by a national tour in 2008.
