Gotham Chamber Opera presents Daniel Catan's 1988 opera, La hija de Rappaccini (Rappaccini's Daughter), on Mondays, June 17 and 24, 2013 at 7pm at Brooklyn Botanic Garden (rain date June 25). Seating is by general admission on the lawn. Blankets and outside food will be permitted. Boxed picnic dinners will also be available for purchase. The Little Opera Theatre of NY announces its spring 2013 production of Christoph Willibald Gluck's tragi-comic opera The Reformed Drunkard. Eight performances will be presented from today, MARCH 16-24 at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Performance times are 8:15 pm for Fridays and Todays, including March 16, 22, and 23; 7:15 pm for Tuesday-Thursday performances, March 19-21; and 3:15 pm for two Sunday matinees, March 17 and 24. DESTROID to Release Debut Single “Raise Your Fist” as Free Download; Album Scheduled for 2013

DESTROID-the new mega collaboration featuring Excision, Downlink and KJ Sawka-have unleashed their debut single "Raise Your Fist." Fans can listen to the track online now via YouTube (http://youtu.be/Jgzw062d8PE) and can download the track for free on the group's website at www.destroid.com/raisefist. "Raise Your Fist" will be featured on the upcoming DESTROID album out early 2013. DESTROID bring forth the next stage of the dubstep movement: a full-on live dubstep band executed in a way bass music has never seen.
