The Shakespeare Theatre Company, recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award, announces casting for the first two mainstage productions of its 2012-2013 Season. The Government Inspector, running from September 13 - October 28 at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW), and A Midsummer Night's Dream, running from November 15 - December 30 at Sidney Harman Hall(610 F Street NW), both feature new and familiar faces to STC's stages. The Shakespeare Theatre Company announces casting for the two remaining productions of their 25th Anniversary Season. The Servant of Two Masters, running from May 15-June 24 at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW), and The Merry Wives of Windsor, running from June 12-July 15 at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW), both feature new and familiar faces to STC's stages. Justin Timberlake Eyed for A TIME TO KILL on Broadway? by BWW News Desk - Sep 28, 2011
Now, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the play is getting closer to Broadway with a new reading set for Friday in New York, featuring Beau Bridges, his daughter Emily and Shuler Hensley. Riedel also reports that Justin Timberlake who has been looking for a theatre project will be 'approached' for the role of the show's young legal protege, Jack Brigance, played out of town by Sebastian Arcelus. There's no word on a potential timeline for the show, or if Timberlake is interested in the part.

After kicking off the inaugural season of Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, shattering all box office records from Arena Stage's 60-year history and rounding up 10 Helen Hayes Awards nominations, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! has returned for a summer run under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. The revival, featuring the entire original principal cast and most of the ensemble, has already broken more company records by selling the highest number of single tickets for a production in 24 hours when tickets went on sale March 3, 2011. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! began performances on July 8, 2011 and opened July 14. The production runs through October 2, 2011 in the Fichandler Stage.
