SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody Hits Omaha, 6/13-15

The cast has been announced for the Omaha performances of SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody! Omaha Performing Arts presents SPANK! for three performances on Thursday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m.; and Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, at 8:00 p.m. in the Orpheum Theater. At the State, cross-dressers and a transvestite are feverishly dancing and preening in PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT, THE MUSICAL. At the Hanna, witches and warlocks are cavorting in BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE. On stage at the Hanna, in SPANK! THE FIFTY SHADES PARODY, whips, chains, handcuffs and undulating abs have the mostly 20-something female crowd screaming for more. SPANK! The Fifty Shades Parody, the hilarious and naughty new parody of Fifty Shades of Grey, will dominate willing audiences at the Royal George Theatre Main Stage, 1641 N. Halsted, in a limited three-week engagement starting Wednesday evening, November 28. The production, which premiered in Springfield, MA earlier this month, is produced by Mills Entertainment, and is being presented in Chicago by the Just For Laughs Group. Beginning on August 11 and continuing through August 29, Pinter's 1975 modern classic No Man's Land, directed by artistic director Bonnie J. Monte, will run at the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre.
