Deborah Grace Winer continues her monthly love affair with New York when her acclaimed musical revue 'NEW YORK: BIG CITY SONGBOOK' returns to Birdland Theatre on Sunday, April 14 at 7:30 pm featuring Klea Blackhurst, LaTanya Hall and Nick Ziobro with Joe Davidian on piano and Jay Leonhart on bass and vocals. Mark Waldrop directs with musical arrangements by John Oddo.

The Drama Desk has announced that Drama Desk Award-winning actor Michael Urie (Torch Song, Buyer and Cellar, 'Ugly Betty') will host The 64th Annual Drama Desk Awards, Sunday, June 2 at 8PM at The Town Hall in New York City. This marks Urie's fourth consecutive time hosting the ceremony. Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) presents a cure for the winter blues with the laugh-out-loud, world premiere comedy Slow Food by Wendy MacLeod, writer of the acclaimed play Women in Jeopardy and the TV cult sensation "Popular," from January 9 to February 3 at the Nancy L. In September, New Conservatory Theatre Center will kick off its 2018-2019 Season with the San Francisco premiere of the delectable, campy satire, Red Scare on Sunset. Written by the Tony-nominated playwright of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Charles Busch, this lavish comedy delightfully defangs the McCarthyism that took the world by storm. It's 1950's Hollywood and the Cold War is about to come knocking on silver-screen star Mary Dale's palatial front door: her husband's Method acting class is a front for the Communist party and threatens to destroy everything she holds dear. Mary must rally to defend her marriage, Hollywood and the American way in this outrageously funny and ironically timely parody.

Deborah Grace Winer continues her 3-part Feinstein's/54 Below series of jewel box revues celebrating the Classic American Songbook with its season finale on Sunday, June 17th, TILL THERE WAS YOU: A CELEBRATION OF Barbara Cook with Musical Direction by Mark Hummel and direction by Mark Waldrop. Ms. Winer will host a glittering parade of Broadway divas including Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba; Tony nominees Christine Andreas, Rebecca Luker and Christiane Noll; Linda Purl, Aisha de Haas, Natalie Douglas and K.T.
