The 27th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards were handed out last night, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center, in a ceremony that once again benefited the Actors Fund and honored the best of Off Broadway. The Off-Broadway League today announced the confirmed performers for the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. Additionally, the remaining tickets to the show have been released for sale to the public at a discounted rate of $35 each. The 27th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards will be handed out this Sunday, May 6, 2012 at NYU Skirball Center, beginning at 7:00pm EST, in a ceremony that will once again benefit the Actors Fund. The NYC Dance Alliance Foundation held its 1st Annual Bright Lights, Shining Stars Gala at the Jack H. Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at NYU and clearly delivered on its promise of a star studded evening of music & dance with one show-stopping number after another. Following cocktails hosted by Honorary Co-Chairs Cassandra Seidenfeld Lyster and Robin Cofer, eager guests flooded into the elegant theater for an evening of unforgettable moments.

Caldwell Finalizes 2010-2011 Season: Hits From Start to Finish

Caldwell Theatre Company has put the finishing touches on its 2010-2011 Season. As previously announced, the season opens with bringing back the multiple Carbonnell winning Vices: A Love Story starring Holly Shunkey and choreographed by AC Ciulla, both Carbonnell winners. Vices...is the groundbreaking musical told primarily through dance and features pastiche style music incorporating modern rock, disco, operetta, and R&B.

FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP hosts 'Girls' Night Out' on Thursday, June 10th at 8 PM at the Daryl Roth Theatre (20 Union Sq. East at 15th St.). In a unique twist, this 'Girls Night Out' features the men of FUERZA BRUTA at the center of the action (and in one of the show's signature scenes - a mylar pool suspended just inches above the audience). 34th Annual Carbonell Award Nominations Announced

Les Miserables at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables led the pack with a dozen nominations. Broadsword at Miami's Mad Cat Theatre Company and Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them at Plantation's Mosaic Theatre tied with five nods each as the most recognized plays for the annual honors to be held on Monday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.
