Image Entertainment Aquires LAST LOVE with Michael Caine

Image Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, has acquired all U.S. rights to the romantic drama Last Love, based on Francoise Dorner's French novel La Douceur Assassine. Starring Oscar winner Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), who recently signed on to star in Interstellar his 6th Christopher Nolan film, Last Love is written and directed by Sandra Nettelbeck, and co-stars Clemence Poesy (In Bruges, 127 Hours), Justin Kirk (Goats, Showtime's 'Weeds'), Gillian Anderson (The X Files) and Jane Alexander (Dream House, Terminator Salvation). History & Lifetime Launch Production on BONNIE & CLYDE Miniseries

Bonnie & Clyde, a star-studded miniseries for HISTORY and LIFETIME, has begun filming on location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The four-hour, two-night event miniseries stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) in the title roles of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, the Depression-era Outlaw couple whose criminal exploits have assured them lasting fame for eight decades. Bonnie & Clyde will be simulcast on HISTORY and Lifetime later this year. The announcement was made by Nancy Dubuc, President, Entertainment and Media, A+E Networks. (more...)

Now she's back, lugging her matching suitcases into his squalid Colorado motor home for a final reckoning that neither of them saw coming. Annapurnabrings husband-and-wife stars Megan Mullally ('Will & Grace') and Nick Offerman ('Parks and Recreation') to the Odyssey Theatre under the guidance of director Bart DeLorenzo, winner of the 2012 TCG Alan Schneider Award. Sundance Channel's highly anticipated original series 'Rectify' will debut on April 22, 2013 at 9:00pm et/pt with two episodes. The six-episode hour-long series, created and written by Ray McKinnon (The Accountant, That Evening Sun, Mud) and executive produced by Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein (the team behind the critically-acclaimed AMC series, 'Breaking Bad'), marks the first wholly owned Sundance Channel scripted production. Theaters Nationwide to Host Sneak Peek of Sundance Channel's New Series RECTIFY, 4/16

To celebrate the launch of Sundance Channel's first wholly owned original scripted project, 'Rectify', the network has partnered with Art House Convergence and Sundance Cinemas to offer the public a sneak peek at more than a dozen theaters across the country. On the evening of Tuesday, April 16, the participating theaters will screen the first two episodes of the six-part series followed by a Skype Q & A with members of the cast. There will be no cost to attend the screening, however the Osborne Association will be accepting donations. 'Rectify' is set to premiere on Sundance Channel on Monday, April 22 at 9:00pm et/pt with a two hour debut. (more...)

Sarah Hyland Signs on for Lifetime & History's BONNIE & CLYDE Miniseries

Sarah Hyland is going from a MODERN FAMILY to a slightly more criminal one. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the young actress has officially signed on to join Lifetime and History's upcoming four-part miniseries chronicling the life of the young vigilante duo. Image Entertainment, Inc., a subsidiary of RLJ Entertainment ( RLJE), has picked up all U.S. rights to Mandate Pictures' Paradise, the much-anticipated directorial debut of Academy Award winner Diablo Cody.
