Candela 'Fuerza Y Pasion' opened to a full house of 1,700 people

Luis Salgado does it again: Candela "Fuerza Y Pasion" opened to a full house of 1,700 people who all rose to their feet to join the cast for the Peruvian National anthem as the peak catharsis moment of the show. On Friday night the production played under the stars in an arena venue specifically created for this performance at the Regatas Club and will tour to the Centro Cultural Rimac Theater space in Asia Peru for performances beginning on March 10. Prospect Theater Company's MYTHS AND HYMNS Announces Talkback, 2/23

Prospect Theater Company will hold a talkback with director Elizabeth Lucas and cast members from the critically-acclaimed production of Adam Guettels Myths and Hymns following the Thursday, February 23 performance. Among the cast members in attendance will be Bob Stillman, Anika Larsen and Matthew Farcher. In addition, a 5pm performance has been added on Saturday, February 25. Broadway's Tracee Beazer (Memphis, The Wedding Singer, All Shook Up), Tracy Jai Edwards (Hairspray, Legally Blonde), Hollie Howard (Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Annie Get Your Gun), Robyn Hurder (Grease, Chicago, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Gabrielle Ruiz (In the Heights, A Chorus Line) and Chelsea Morgan Stock (The Little Mermaid, Baby, It's You!) will make up the cast of the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival premiere of The Broadway Dolls in TOUR DE FIERCE! The Broadway Dolls' was created by Broadway veteran (and cast member) Hollie Howard in 2007, and Tour De Fierce is co-conceived, designed, and helmed by Broadway Dolls Artistic Director, Joey Murray.
