Marc Anthony Adds Second Show at Barclays Center

Due to popular demand, Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN) has added a second show at Barclays Center featuring global pop icon Marc Anthony on Friday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. The Grammy Award winning artist is also set to perform at the brand new, the state-of-the-art venue on Saturday, Feb. 16. Juanes and Juan Luis Guerra Give Benefit Concert to Assist Hurricane Victims Tonight

Music superstars Juanes and Juan Luis Guerra will be taking to the stage to assist victims of Hurricane Sandy. The two Latin music icons, in partnership with Barclays Center and producer Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), will be donating all proceeds from tonight's November 24th concert to the American Red Cross - to support ongoing efforts to aid victims of last week's devastating disaster. DC-7 set for Off-Broadway limited season

The show about the life and legacy of baseball legend and humanitarian Roberto Clemente (first Hispanic inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame) will play at its new home, the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre (304 W. 47th Street), through April 8th. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 3PM. (more...)

Music director Isidro Infante (who performed with the real Cruz) leads a seven-piece band that accompanies Gathers and the cast in faithful live renditions of the Salsa Queen's repertoire, including 'La Bomba,' Celia's groundbreaking collaboration with Tito Puente which is credited with sparking the popularity of salsa music in the '70s, as well as 'Guantanamera,' 'Químbara,' 'Toro Mata,' 'La Vida es un Carnaval' and dozens more that became universal sensations. 'Celia' Closes 5/25 To Prepare For World Tour

Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz, the Off-Broadway musical celebrating 'The Queen of Salsa' Celia Cruz, will end its New York run at New World Stages on Sunday, May 25th, 2008, to shift the focus to its anticipated world tour, it was announced by the show's producers Henry Cardenas and David Maldonado. Celia began previews on August 28, 2007 and officially opened on September 26, 2007. When it closes, Celia will have played a total of 25 previews and 269 regular performances. (more...)
