Trevor Nunn to Direct ALL THAT FALL, Starring Eileen Atkins & Michael Gambon at Jermyn Street, Oct 9-Nov 3

On the back of Jermyn Street Theatres recent announcement of the UK premiere of Henrik Ibsens comic fantasy St Johns Night, to be staged this July, the smallest theatre in the heart of the West End announces another major production for this autumn. Three giants of the British stage come together as Trevor Nunn directs Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon in All That Fall, a radio play by Samuel Beckett. The work, which has never been seen in London before, continues and extends this small and intimate theatres burgeoning reputation for attracting the very best talent in British theatre in order to rediscover and stage lesser-known works by major writers. Jermyn Street's production of ALL THAT FALL will play 9th October - 3rd November, with press night set for 11th October at 7.30pm. ( more...)

Diversionary Theatre announced the companys 2012-2013 productions and presentations at an event this past Saturday. The season will include the previously announced world-premiere of Harmony, Kansas, a new musical; an imaginative staging of Pippin; the first full-scale production of the new play, when last we flew; a comedy about family, Birds of a Feather; and, the hilarious farce, The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabbler. Tennessee Rep Presents Ingram New Works Festival, 5/30-6/9

Tennessee Repertory Theatre has announced its schedule for the Martha R. Ingram New Works Festival. The festival will be held May 30 June 9 and will feature staged readings of new plays from four regional playwrights as well as nationally-renowned playwright Steven Dietz. The Old Globes 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentlemans Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaws Pygmalion in celebration of the classic plays 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsens A Dolls House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaires Good People and Jon Robin Baitzs Other Desert Cities.
