Rehearsal images have been released of BAFTA and Golden Globe Award-winning writer, comedian and actor Stephen Merchant (The Office, Extras, Hello Ladies) and critically acclaimed actor Steffan Rhodri (Gavin & Stacey, Harry Potter, Posh) as they prepare to open wickedly funny comedy The Mentalists, which runs for a strictly limited season at the Wyndham's Theatre from Friday 3 July to 26 September.

It's 1991 and a TV show celebrates the recently knighted 'Most Trusted Man In Britain'. But while the great and the good praise him, a different story unfolds elsewhere as one woman embarks on an extraordinary quest to be believed.  How one man used fame, intimidation and manipulation to fool the very institutions we trust and how one brave woman fought back. Producers of SHREK THE MUSICAL today announced that the larger-than-life production will coming to the King's Theatre tonight 29 April Sunday 17 May 2015, direct from London, where it was seen live on stage by nearly a million people.

The cast of the National Theatre's multi-award winning production of The Curious Incident of Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre have worn onesies in support of Onesie Wednesday today (1 April), part of World Autism Awareness Week 2015, organised by the National Autistic Society to encourage everyone to wear their onesies or pyjamas to work in order to stand out for autism. Academy Award winner Helen Mirren returns to Broadway as Elizabeth II in Peter Morgan's The Audience, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Stephen Daldry. The production opened last night, March 8, 2015, and runs through June 28, 2015 at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. At the New London Theatre, the proud home of Michael Morpurgo's much celebrated War Horse, the National Theatre's acclaimed stage production today (2 February) releases over 150,000 new tickets for sale taking bookings for the West End production to 13 February 2016. In its eighth year, and having now been seen by over 6 million worldwide, a new cast of 26 actors and 12 puppeteers join the company on 16 March 2015 led by the show's equine star Joey. War Horse recently completed sell-out dates in South Africa visiting Johannesburg and Cape Town and has now returned to the UK where it will complete a record-breaking national tour in Bristol next month.

Direct from London (where it was seen live on stage by nearly a million people), the production is based on the award-winning DreamWorks animation film and brings the much-loved characters to life.

Rehearsals have now begun for the West End production of hit Broadway musical MEMPHIS, which will have preview performances at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London from 9 October 2014 with Opening Night on 23 October 2014. Winner of four 2010 Tony Awards® including Best Musical, MEMPHIS has a Grammy® Award-winning original score by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan and book by Joe DiPietro.

West End stars Charlotte Wakefield and Helen Hobson are making quite a habit of being paired together in hit musicals.They first played mother and daughter in Mamma Mia! and then Maria and Mother Abbess in the acclaimed production of The Sound of Music in Regent's Park.

Rehearsals began this week for the World Premiere stage adaptation of Shakespeare in Love, bringing together one of the largest companies ever assembled for a play in the West End. The 28-strong cast includes a number of young actors and actor-musicians who will be making their professional debuts.

Barry O'Farrell announced today that the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Matilda The Musical will make its Australian Premiere at Sydney Lyric Theatre in August 2015.
