Heléne Yorke to Play Recurring Role on Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX by TV News Desk - Jan 29, 2013
New York based actress Helene Yorke is set for the new Showtime drama series, Masters of Sex. Yorke (30 Rock, A Gifted Man), who was featured in the pilot episode, will now recur throughout the first season. An adaptation of Thomas Maier's book, Masters stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as William Masters and Virginia Johnson, real-life human sexuality research scientists. Also a notable theater actress, Yorke will continue her role as Jane, one of the pair's primary subjects in their experiments. (more...)

Michael McGrath to Lead Musical Version of THE HONEYMOONERS by BWW News Desk - Jun 10, 2012
Michael McGrath, who just won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, just revealed in a post-Tony interview that he will soon star in an upcoming musical version of THE HONEYMOONERS, based on the famed 1950s television series. McGrath would play 'Ralph,' in the show. (more...)

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post this morning that a musical based on the famed 1950s television series The Honeymooners. A reading directed by Jerry Mitchell will take place today starring Jim Belushi (Ralph), Peter Scolari (Norton), Rachel York (Alice) and Helene Yorke (Trixie). The Honeymooners follows Ralph (originally played by Jackie Gleason) as an everyman and an underdog who struggled to make a better life for himself and his wife, but who ultimately failed due to his own shortcomings. He stands in the wings and watches his two leading ladies in a scene 'and everytime I do it, it gives me chills,' he says, 'it sort of reminds me what's going on with the show and why I'm doing it.
