Billboard has reported that Barbra Streisand's latest album, Release Me 2, debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 chart, making her the only woman to have a top 20 - or 40 - album in every decade from the 1960s through the 2020s.

Legendary icon, Barbra Streisand, recently announced that her new album, Release Me 2, will be available on Friday, August 6th. Streisand's first Release Me album debuted in September 2012, and contained tracks recorded between her 1967 Simply Streisand and 2011 What Matters Most albums. Featuring a personal collection of songs, written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Barry Gibb, Paul Williams, Randy Newman, Michel Legrand and Alan & Marilyn Bergman, Harold Arlen and Carole King, this 10-track compilation brilliantly showcases the vulnerability and beauty of the human spirit – chock full of honest truths and gratitude for the simple pleasures.

Halsey’s fourth studio album will be released by Capitol Records on August 27. Fans can pre-order the album on Halsey’s store.

Halsey penned the songs for If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power herself. She recorded the career-defining album with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, known for their work in Nine Inch Nails and as Oscar, Golden Globe and GRAMMY®-winning film/television composers.

The album is produced by Allison alongside Fiona Cruickshank, with Hannah Peel adding string arrangements to four songs, courtesy of a quintet of Scottish folk musicians.  

It was previously reported that Nick Jonas was in talks to lead a streaming event performance of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Jersey Boys. Frankie Valli himself confirmed the news on The Today Show, stating 'It's being filmed for television, and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is playing Frankie.' 

Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, will release Release Me 2, a new collection of ten previously unreleased studio performances from the legendary Barbra Streisand, available Friday, August 6, 2021.
