At the 28th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition, the show concluded with Once on This Island's Hailey Kilgore singing a show-stopping and awe-inspiring rendition of the Easter Bonnet Competition anthem, 'Help is on the Way,' written by David Friedman with a new arrangement by Ted Arthur.

A number of families packed the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theatre Friday for the world premiere of 'The Watsons Go to Birmingham - 1963.'

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announces that Alicia Grace (the Kennedy Center's She A Gem) will step into the role of Joetta "Joey" Watson. She replaces the previously announced Hailey Kilgore, who is departing the production due to an unanticipated scheduling conflict.

Making her solo debut on Jan. 30, her enthusiasm was infectious, her voice shimmered through each sustained note, and even those who knew her seemed surprised at the volume and strength that carried each song.

Following her sold out performance on January 30th, Hailey Kilgore will return to Feinstein's/54 Below for a special encore show! Featuring a wide range of songs that have inspired and shaped her meteoric career. The evening will be produced by Yael Silver, with Musical Direction by Ted Arthur.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Michelle Williams has been advised by her doctors to take a leave of absence from performing. Lea Salonga, who originated the role in this production will play Erzulie from December 27 through its final performance on January 6.
