ASL interpreters voice information and observations allowing hearing and deaf audiences to discover art together under the leadership of a deaf volunteer guide. Broadway stars Barbara Walsh (Company) and Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q) join Bill Connington, the star of ZOMBIE, in performing in a benefit reading of Oscar Wilde's classic comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest ("A Trivial Comedy for Serious People"). Also in the cast are William Connell (The Coast of Utopia), Vivienne Cleary (Peace Warriors), Annmarie Benedict (Robeson), D.H. Johnson (Dodsworth), and Oliver Houser (Spring Awakening, Virginia Rep).

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) has just announced that the 30(th) Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Cipriani 42(nd) Street in New York City. The Awards ceremony will include the presentation of 25 awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film as well as Princess Grace Statue Awards to be presented to Patrick Page and Darron L West. A special honor will be presented to one of the founding Trustees, Lynn Wyatt, for her dedicated service and help in establishing the Foundation in 1982. The 30(th) Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala will take place in the presence of TSH The Prince and The Princess of Monaco. Legendary newswoman Paula Zahn will act as Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening. The evening will be chaired by Renee Fleming and Tim Jessell and H.R.H. Princess Firyal of Jordan. Presenting Sponsor for the Gala is Hermes; Crown Sponsor is Lily Safra. A unique live auction will feature a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Monaco for the Grand Prix and opportunities to name a Princess Grace Award. Bringing down the gavel will be Paddle8's co-founder, Alexander Gilkes.

Local comedian, actor and performer Phil Johnson will take the stage in a fast paced and affectionate look at one of the most famous horror stories of all time where a single actor plays all 13 of the frightened- and frightening- characters that inhabit the dark and mystic world of Arthur Conan Doyle's masterpiece. HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES will be presented for four shows only at North Coast Repertory Theater in Solana Beach. Johnson has been selected to receive a recent San Diego Foundation's Creative Catalyst Grant for this unique collaboration. He is one of 15 artists who were selected to receive these inaugural grants as part of an innovative program that supports artists directly.

The New York Society Library and Razors Edge Productions will presenting award-winning actor Bill Connington (ZOMBIE), Emmy-nominated Paul Anthony Stewart (THE GUILDING LIGHT), and D. H. Johnson (DODSWORTH) in a staged reading of the award-winning comedy ART by Yasmina Reza. The play will be directed by Dan Cordle.
