WICKED Tickets Go On Sale 5/20 in Minneapolis

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that tickets for Wicked running September 18-October 27, 2013 at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, will go on public sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20. From 10 a.m. to Noon, tickets will only be available in person at the State Theatre Box Office. Beginning at noon, tickets will also be sold online through HennepinTheatreTrust.org, by calling 1.800.982.2787 or visiting a Ticketmaster Outlet Center. Wicked makes its much-anticipated return to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis after selling out three Minneapolis engagements in 2006, 2008 and 2010. Beginning performances on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, Lindsay Mendez will assume the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of WICKED. Ms. Mendez has previously worked with both the composer and director of WICKED, having appeared in the 2011 Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell, and, more recently, giving a breakout performance in the world premiere musical, Dogfight, staged by WICKED director Joe Mantello.
