We do get a sort of happy ending, but not with a gratifying round of absolution for everyone. In the complicated interplay of transgression and victimization, and in the face of the realities of life in a patriarchal and heterosexist society, almost everyone ends up wishing they’d deserved and received greater absolution. There reemerges what Morissette calls “common ground,” but everyone remains a work in progress. And it is still enough to send the audience out with eyes shining. It’s earned.

BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical will play its first ever relaxed performance at the Adelphi Theatre on Sunday 12 March 2023.

Having already performed more than 500 concerts in Europe, Hyphen Hyphen already took the next step and seduced the American public with their performance at Summerstage Festival in NYC this year. Following up with an international tour in 2023, it seems quite certain that this new album and the collection of infectious songs.

GHOST THE MUSICAL at Toby’s Dinner Theater in Columbia, based 1990's movie Ghost, starring Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze, offers romance, drama and retro vibes. The 1955 tune “Unchained Melody” strings the whole thing together. Cast and orchestra are harmonic and wonderfully watchable. Production values are excellent and dinner is delicious.

As these projects go, the Alanis Morissette-scored JAGGED LITTLE PILL may not have entirely broken the mold of jukebox musicals, but it has sure put a dagger-sized gash in it and made it bleed.

Featuring “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “I’ve Got No Strings” and “Hi Diddle Dee Dee” (“The Actor’s Life”)—the filmmakers included additional songs in their live action version. Oscar nominees Alan Silvestri, who composed the film’s background score and has teamed with Zemeckis on 19 films, and Glen Ballard collaborated on the new original songs.

Due to overwhelming demand, lead producer Colin Ingram, together with Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, the creators of the Back To The Future film trilogy, are delighted to announce that BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical’s performances at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End will extend to 23 July 2023 as it celebrates its first Birthday.
