The Vanguard Theater kicks off its second season with the heartwarming musical drama, The Spitfire Grill. The show runs November 4 - 20, 2022.

Vanguard Theater has announced the cast for Spitfire Grill, playing November 4-20. The cast is led by Virginia Ann Woodruff (BROADWAY: VIOLET, LEAP OF FAITH, THE COLOR PURPLE, ALL SHOOK UP, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ, and numerous National Tours) and more.

The stage at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts will shift from pink to green at the closing of Legally Blonde while preparing to open Little Shop of Horrors on August 12. Professional performers bring incredible choreography, moving musical numbers, and hilarious anecdotes in this beloved Broadway musical, right here in Saugatuck.

Truth be told, everyone from the setlist gave pretty terrific performances in a very plain, straightforward talent showcase. The dimensions of the evening came out of these multidimensional INDIVIDUALS giving their multidimensional performances singing their individual (or duet in 1 case) songs.

In the smash hit musical 'The Producers,' veteran producer Max Bialystock explains to his accountant/new producing partner Leo Bloom the step by step instructions of producing a Broadway show. He advised to find the worst play ever written, hire the worst actors in town, find the worst director in town, and finally open on Broadway. Luckily, the Argyle Theatre in Babylon Village did just the opposite. They chose one of the best musicals ever written by Mel Brooks as their season closer, gathered a troop of top notch professionals to perform it, and chose Broadway veteran Evan Pappas, the best in the business, to direct it.
