On Wednesday Nov 8th, Tony nominee Valerie Harper (LOOPED), Susie Singer Carter, Liz Torres and the cast of the critically acclaimed short film MY MOM & THE GIRL gathered for a special Academy screening in the ballroom of world famous Hollywood Museum (located in the historic Max Factor Building)

Legendary comedian Don Rickles, best known for his abrasive, insulting brand of humor, has passed away at the age of 90.

President and Founder of The Hollywood Museum, Donelle Dadigan, hosted a very special Lobby Exhibit unveiling, featuring items and from the career of Tippi Hedren (including items worn in the film 'The Birds,' Edith Head's dress form designed to Tippi's exact measurements, her Golden Globe and a personal gift presented by Alfred Hitchcock when he and his wife, Alma, informed her that she had been chosen to portray Melanie Daniels in 'The Birds).

 A who's who of film and television stars will perform Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues in an intimate theatrical setting for four benefit performances only on April 30, May 1, 6 & 7 at 8pm, at the Atwater Village Theatre in Los Angeles. Produced and directed by Sheena Metal for Ensemble Studio Theatre Los Angeles, all proceeds will benefit V-Day (vday.org), A Global Movement to End Violence Against Women and Girls, and protect.org, a national pro-child, anti-crime association committed to building a powerful, nonpartisan force for the protection of children from abuse, exploitation and neglect.

The Hollywood Museum will once again proudly present the annual "Celebration of Entertainment Awards" exhibit, which will include nominees and winners from this season's entertainment awards shows. Featured in this exhibit are costumes, props, posters and iconic images from current nominated and award winning film and television shows including Trumbo, The Danish Girl, Peanuts, The Big Short, Inside Out, Brooklyn, as well as Orange is the New Black, The Good Wife, Walking Dead, Mad Men, Transparent and House of Lies, to name a few. 

Approaching 90, Ms. Charlotte Rae just keeps going and going and going - Ms. Rae's Rea's recent appearances at Sadri's in NY and B&N in LA, gathered a Standing Room Only crowd with an eclectic list of patrons among the fans including JoAnne Worley, Anna Maria Albergetti, Ilene Graff, Patricia Morison, John Bowab, Laura Pursell, Barbara Van Orden, Daisy Egan, Jerry Stiller and Gilbert Gottfried, among others.

Actress, Charlotte Rae, is best known for her role as Mrs. Garrett on the TV series “Diff'rent Strokes” and “The Facts of Life” and her career, from “Car 54 Where are you?” and Molly the Mail Carrier on “Sesame Street” to the current role opposite Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline in “Ricki and the Flash,” has been the envy of numerous industry members.

Actress Charlotte Rae is best known for her role as Mrs. Garrett on the TV series "Diff'rent Strokes" and "The Facts of Life," but from "Car 54 Where Are You?" and Molly the Mail Carrier on "Sesame Street" to the current role opposite Meryl Streep in "Ricki and the Flash," her career has onstage and on screen has been the envy of industry members. Sheena Metal is set to celebrate 20 years as a Los Angeles radio host with an anniversary party at the Hollywood Improv on Sunday, August 3 at 9pm. For the very first time, Metal will broadcast her LA Talk Radio program, The Sheena Metal Experience, live from the historic comedy club.

Among the guests attending the opening night gala for the West Coast theatrical premiere of 'Marylin ... On Saturday, August 10th, 2013 Project Angel Food hosted its annual Angel Awards where the non-profit recognized the philanthropic accomplishments of award-winning actress Jane Lynch, star of FOX's GLEE and host of NBC's new hit "Hollywood Game Night," and Food network staple, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis. With nearly 400 guests in attendance, it was a night to celebrate and many of Hollywood's brightest turned out to show their support for the evening's honorees and the organization which prepares and delivers over 12,000 nutritious meals every week to those with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life threatening illnesses in Los Angeles County. Geri Jewell joined the list of participants at the United Nations on Friday, July 19 at the U.N's North Lawn Building, for 'The Art of Engagement' for an entertaining approach to building awareness about persons with disabilities.

Last week, The Southern California Motion Picture Council presented their Annual Golden Halo Award Presentation. Among those being honored were Ja'net DuBois, Bridget MacDonald and John Pierre, but the evenings highlight was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to actress, comedienne and humanitarian, Geri Jewell.
