Richmond Triangle Players will re-open after a six-month hiatus with two a?oepre-seasona?? events --- beginning with the Virginia premiere of Carolyn Gage's acclaimed play The Second Coming of Joan of Arc, with six performances only beginning Thursday Oct 1, at 8 pm. The production will run Thursday through Saturday evenings through October 10.   A new cabaret show, Virtually Insane starring Georgia Rogers Farmer and Joshua Wortham, will play live for three performances, October 15-17 at 8 pm. Both productions will have streaming options available as well.

If anyone was paying attention (though I don't know why anyone would), they probably noticed that I was in the bag for 'Preludes' long before it ever hit the stage.

'[title of show]' was the laugh machine that kept on giving, co-winning the Artsie for best musical (with 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels') in 2011.

Swift Creek Mill Theatre will offer a Pay-What-You-Can performance of their MainStage production of a?oeI Love You, You're Perfect, Now Changea?? Thursday, March 19, at 8 p.m. Regularly-priced theatre tickets are $40.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the November Theatre/Arenstein Stage, 114 West Broad Street. The show will run through Sunday, October 20, 2019. Previews will be on Wednesday, September 25 and Thursday, September 26, 2019. 

Richmond Triangle Players' Cabaret Series will celebrate New Year's Eve with beloved Richmond performer Scott Wichmann in two performances of his new show A Very Good Year, Monday December 31, at 8:00 and 10:30 pm.  Tickets are already limited for the 8:00 pm show and are on sale now.

Richmond Triangle Players continues its 2018-19 season with Who's Holiday, the mid-Atlantic premiere of the play Dr. Seuss didn't want you to see! The production will open Friday November 16 at 8:00 pm, after two low-priced previews on Wednesday and Thursday November 14 and 15 at 8:00 pm, and run through Saturday December 15.

Richmond Triangle Players is proud to announce that theater legend Charles Busch will launch RTP's 2018-19 Cabaret Season with his acclaimed show "My Kinda 60s".  Performances are Friday and Saturday, September 7 and 8, both at 8 pm.

This delightful farce, with a cast comprised of some of Richmond's finest musical-comedy performers, is adding four performances and will now close on July 8, 2017.  The production is sponsored by Hayes & Fisk Photography and Mosaic Catering.

IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU isn't smart and doesn't have a lot of artistic merit, but it's thoroughly entertaining and offers the kind of trivial comedy audiences need right now. The production runs through July 1 at the Robert B. Moss Theatre.

Billed as children's theatre, the company puts forth a noble effort to mount a show with many accouterments of a mainstage production.
