Asolo Rep Adds MY BRILLIANT DIVORCE to 2012-13 Season by BWW News Desk - Aug 02, 2012
Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced the addition of My Brilliant Divorce to its 2012-2013 lineup. The one-woman comedy by Geraldine Aron will have its regional premiere at Asolo Rep from June 26-July 14 with preview performances June 23 & 25. My Brilliant Divorce will be directed by Asolo Rep Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards.

According to its website, the Vineyard Arts Project just held two 'in-progress' readings on July 18 and 20 of Moss Hart's Act One, adapted for the stage by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and director James Lapine and commissioned by the Lincoln Center Theater. The readings starred Tony Shalhoub ('Monk', Lend Me a Tenor), Debra Monk (Steel Pier, Redwood Curtain), Chuck Cooper (The Life, Caroline, or Change) and David Turner (On A Clear Day You Can See Forever). American Players Theatre (APT) announces its 2012 Season, which will run June 9 to October 21, 2012. The season will be especially exciting to Shakespeare lovers, with the return of three Shakespeare productions in APT's 1148-seat outdoor amphitheater Up the Hill, as well as Vern Thiessen's Shakespeare's Will, about William Shakespeare's enigmatic wife Anne Hathaway, in APT's 200-seat indoor Touchstone Theatre.
