Sony Classical and Integrity Music have released the CD and DVD of Handel's Messiah Rocks, a groundbreaking musical event that blends classical music with classic rock in a fresh new interpretation of George Fredrick Handel's celebrated oratorio. On December 15, its stars, La Chanze and J.Robert, will perform in concert and sign copies of the CD at the Lincoln Center Barnes & Noble.

The Georgia Regional Girls Choir joins MOS in a concert that will include Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols and Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria. Along with these great works, the concert will include traditional carols, secular favorites and even an opportunity for the audience to join in the music-making!

Brett Batterson, executive director of the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University (ATRU), is pleased to announce that the beloved 'Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz-Gospel Messiah' will return to Chicago's National Historic Landmark Auditorium Theatre for a special tribute to the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For two performances only, Saturday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 17 at 3 p.m., ATRU will be filled with the joyous sounds and exuberance of this jazz and gospel, All-American reinvention of Handel's 'Messiah.'
