Rubicon Theatre Company continues its 'Brave New World' Season with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. The 2008-2009 Reprise Theatre Company season continues with the classic international hit 'Man of La Mancha,' starring Brent Spiner as Cervantes/Quixote. Julia Migenes, the renowned opera and theatre performer, will play Aldonza/Dulcinea; Valerie Perri will play the role of Aldonza/Dulcinea at matinee performances; and Tony nominee Lee Wilkof will play Sancho Panza. 'Man of La Mancha' is written by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion. The production will be directed by Michael Michetti, co-artistic director of The Theatre at Boston Court. 'La Mancha' will play at the Freud Playhouse from February 14-March 1 (press opening February 15).

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE (William Carden, Artistic Director, Paul Alexander Slee, Executive Director) is celebrating a milestone - this spring marks their 37th Anniversary and 31st Marathon of One-Act Plays - and the occasion will be celebrated with a Benefit celebration in honor of distinguished E.S.T. member John Patrick Shanley. The celebration will be held Monday, May 4th at the Prince George Ballroom, 15 East 27th Street, with cocktails, hors d'ouevres and silent auction at 6:00 p.m., followed by dining and award presentation from 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $300 person with table and ad packages available.

Now going strong it's third, THE AFTER PARTY is billed as 'a weekly schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined.'
