Dancers Over 40, the organization "dedicated to preserving the History, Legacy and Lives of our creative community, while sharing the knowledge with the younger generation just beginning their careers" will present a tribute to the great George Balanchine, and the incredibly talented group of performers who worked with the master during his tenure at New York City Ballet. The event will take place tonight, October 8th at 8 p.m. at St. Luke's Theater (308 West 46th Street). (more...)

The 19th Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition announced a total of $3,927,000 had been raised by the over 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. (more...)

The 19th Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced a total of $3,927,000 had been raised by the over 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This beats the previous record of $3,420,000 set in 2004. (more...)

BC/EFA presents the 19th Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition on December 17 & 18 at the New Amsterdam Theatre; hosted this year by Jackie Hoffman, Mary Testa & Bob Saget. BC/EFA will create a special opening number in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original Broadway production of West Side Story. (more...)
