Eliot Lewis is a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist as well as being a key member of the the Daryl Hall & John Oates band. Eliot is also one of the original featured musicians on MTV's “Live From Daryl's House.” His contributions stand out on some of the best moments from the show including performances with Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Joe Walsh, Todd Rundgren,Train, Grace Potter, Ben Folds, Booker T, Jewel, Rob Thomas, Keb Mo, Jason Mraz, Darius Rucker, Gavin DeGraw and many, many others. Earlier in his career Eliot spent several years as a key member of the The Average White Band. Eliot toured, wrote and also produced several songs for the Scottish soul band.

Birdland Theater presented singer Daniel LeClaire, who make his NYC solo debut on Tuesday, October 2. He was accompanied by a band, which included Mike Underwood, Ron Bryant and Julio Reyes. Daniel's very special guest stars were Ruby Lewis, Jelani Remy, Kennedy Caughill, and Mike Longo. The Peace Center announces Peace Voices Songwriters, a new extension of the Peace Voices program. Spearheaded by Greenville's Edwin McCain and songwriter Maia Sharp, the program features a concert series with guest singer-songwriters. It also offers a workshop series for aspiring songwriters, which will culminate in a recorded song.

Musicians On Call, a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, officially launched its latest weekly Bedside Performance Programs at Sunrise Health System hospitals today in Las Vegas. The programs are made possible through a $150,000 endowment from ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music.
