Gary Owen returns to the stage for his fourth SHOWTIME comedy special GARY OWEN: #DOINWHATIDO, premiering Saturday, September 7 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. In the hour-long special filmed at Charline McCombs Empire Theatre in San Antonio, Owen bursts with energy as he recounts stories, including his early days as a wrestler and as a military recruit, his 20-year friendship with Kevin Hart, his reaction to his daughter dating and one of the greatest things he has ever heard at a football game. Whether he is sharing an irreverent anecdote or confronting a number of polemic issues including race and recent high-profile scandals, Owen reminds us that in an age of social media, no one is safe from oversharing.

LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) today announces its spring season 2019, running from 5 February to 11 April at the drama school's West London campus. Directed by industry professionals, LAMDA's productions showcase graduating acting and technical students' talent as they prepare to embark on their professional careers. LAMDA graduates have gone on to enjoy illustrious careers on stage, screen and behind the scenes, with alumni including Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ruth Wilson and David Oyelowo. As part of its commitment to offer local residents increased access to the dramatic arts, half price tickets are available for Hammersmith & Fulham residents.

Blue Note Hawaii is kicking off 2019 with some of music and comedy's biggest names. G. Love will get you in the partying mood, followed by two rounds of comedy with Patton Oswalt and Gary Owen. Swing kings Big Bad Voodoo Daddy return, Anthony David performs the music of Bill Withers and guitar phenom Jonny Lang performs for four nights. Singer-songwriter Joshua Radin makes his Blue Note debut. The Beach Boys' Al Jardine is sure to please crowds, '90s R&B supergroup All-4-One perform for three nights and John Sebastian from the Lovin' Spoonful will take you down memory lane. Local artists include Tim Rose in his "Aloha for Now" show, the incomparable Willie K, reggae artist Sister Nancy, the exciting Dae Han Quintet, local favorites Good Foot Hawaii and Punahou alum Willy Falk.

Cardiff's Sherman Theatre will present Wales's best emerging talent to a London audience in its New Welsh Voices showcase at Theatre503 on 13 and 14 December. The programme, which brings together the members of both its writer and director development schemes established by the Sherman's Artistic Director Rachel O'Riordan, will also provide a platform for Welsh and Wales-based performers. Sherman Theatre hopes to share the work of the best up and coming creatives it has nurtured over the past three years with a wider audience and promote the country's exciting new work.

Dawn King's Foxfinder will have its West End premiere at the Ambassadors Theatre from 6 September 2018 for a strictly limited season until 5 January 2019. Olivier Award-winner Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones' Ramsay Bolton, Misfits) will star in the unsettling and darkly comic drama directed by Rachel O'Riordan whose production of Killology at the Royal Court won the 2018 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre. Millions of Poldark fans were left heartbroken on Sunday evening when Heida Reed's character Elizabeth Warleggan met her untimely and tragic end in the season finale. After four series as a lead in the much-loved BBC drama, Heida Reed bowed out in a dramatic episode which saw her character Elizabeth die from a concoction taken to induce early labour. Artistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre, Brigid Larmour, today announces the Autumn Season with the centrepiece being the theatre's first produced Shakespeare in 10 years - Much Ado About Nothing with an all-female cast. Directed by Larmour, the production opens on 9 October with previews from 4 October and running until 27 October.
