Encore Series, Inc., presenter of Peter Nero and The Philly POPS, have announced the first concert series of the 2012/2013 Season will be held October 12-14, 2012 in Verizon Hall at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia. "Dancing and Romancing" is a tribute to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, featuring nationally acclaimed dancers, Joan Hess and Kirby Ward.

Michael Krajewski to Conduct Peter Nero and The Philly POPS' BOND AND BEYOND

Encore Series, Inc., presenter of Peter Nero and The Philly POPSŪ, today announced Michael Krajewski, the principal pops conductor of the Houston Symphony, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, will be the guest conductor of the Bond and Beyond concert series on April 26, 27, 28, 2013. Maestro Krajewski replaces the late Marvin Hamlisch, who was slated to guest conduct the series. (more...)

Encore Series, Inc./Peter Nero and the Philly PopsŪ elected five new members to its Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. D. Walter Cohen, D.D.S., of Philadelphia, PA, began his tenure as chairman of the Board immediately following the Annual Meeting. Salvatore M.
