On Wednesday evening, June 20th, a private reading of QUILT - A Musical Celebration at Rosie O'Donnell's Maravel Arts Center, home of Rosie's Theater Kids in New York, took place to mark the 25th anniversary of The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt in advance of its planned summer return to the nation's capital. On Tuesday, March 27th, Rosie's Theater Kids held an event called 'Passing It On,' where the Kids performed a show which they learned in tandem with mega mentors like Audra McDonald, BD Wong, Brandon Victor Dixon, Dana Moore, and Derick K Grant, among others. The show was held at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater @ 7pm, and the event honored Tom Viola, Executive Director of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids.

Marin Ireland, Eric Bogosian, Isiah Whitlock Jr. and John Guare join the previously announced Blythe Danner, Ted Danson, Parker Posey, Peter Dinklage, Lili Taylor, Michael Stuhlbarg at the Soho Rep SPRING GALA 2011 honoring Marian Seldes. Co-hosted by Mr. Bogosian and Tim Blake Nelson the evening will also feature musical performances by Jomama Jones & The Lisps. The stage performance will feature scenes and songs from past and upcoming Soho Rep shows. Special musical guest will be Jomama Jones - who had a critically acclaimed run at Soho Rep earlier this season - in addition to The Lisps, performing a song from their new musical FUTURITY.
