Eden Espinosa and Erin Dilly Join SOUTH PACIFIC 70th Anniversary Concert

Broadway Dreams and The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization announced today that two-time Grammy Award-winner Isabel Leonard, Broadway vet Eden Espinosa, and Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly will join the cast of the previously announced 70th Anniversary gala concert celebration of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning musical triumph, South Pacific. The evening will take place on Monday, December 10, 2018 at The St. Regis New York (2 E 55th Street) and will serve as a fundraiser for Broadway Dreams, a not-for-profit performing arts training organization with global reach. Tickets for the event start at $1,000 and can be purchased at broadwaydreams.org/event-tickets.

Over the past hundred years the theater community has celebrated some of the most notable events in Broadway's history at the Friars Club. Last night the Barrington Stage Co. the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, Ma. under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd held their New York City Benefit in the legendary building where so many legends of the theater community have socialized and entertained each other. John Rando the famed director was celebrated for his extraordinary talent and his contributions to BSC. John has directed two of the most popular musicals in BSC history, The Pirates of Penzance and On the Town, which transferred to Broadway and received four Tony Award nominations, including Best Director. At BSC John also directed The Royal Family of Broadway and Guys and Dolls and on Broadway, he won a Tony Award for his direction of Urinetown, The Musical.

Meet Me In St. Louis is the picture-perfect nostalgic closer for The Muny's centennial season, a romantic musical based on the 1944 film that follows the Smith family through 1903 and into the new year as they await the opening of the 1904 World's Fair. The plot is a bit old fashioned by modern standards, but focuses on family, friendship, and love, and pays an affectionate tribute to a bygone era in St. Louis history.
Real-Life Broadway Couples Celebrate Love At The Queens Theatre

Cody Williams with Alysha Umphress. Stephen DeAngelis exclusively for Queens Theatre, will be presented for a limited two-performance run on February 17 at 8 pm and February 18 at 3 pm. Audiences will be treated to a romantic night with a musical score from across the spectrum of Broadway, pop, the American Songbook, and country music. Both performances will include personal stories from the cast and a lively question and answer session with the audience.
