Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, directed by the Stratford Shakespeare Festival’s Artistic Director and 2-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff, opens March 22, 2012 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Beginning with tonight's performance, Andy Karl and Quinn Van Antwerp have joined the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) steps in the role of Tommy DeVito; Dominic Nolfi departed on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp steps in the role of Bob Gaudio; Ryan Jesse departed October 9. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) will step in the role of Tommy Devito following the departure of Dominic Nolfi on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp will step in the role of Bob Gaudio following the departure of Ryan Jesse on October 9. A global phenomenon, the record-breaking production has won awards for Best Musical on three continents, including the 2006 Tony® Award, while the platinum-selling Original Cast Recording album won a Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album in 2007. To celebrate the holidays, members of the award-winning Jersey Boys casts around the globe have come together to record a selection of Christmas classics in the style of The Four Seasons.
