Kimberly Valerio Performs with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra in BEETHOVEN EROICA This Weekend

Kimberly Valerio will perform as flute soloist with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) this weekend, November 14 and 15 in a program titled Beethoven 'Eroica.' Music Director José-Luis Novo will lead the orchestra in these Lexus Classic Series concerts beginning at 8:00pm in the newly renovated auditorium of Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra announces the release of its latest album, Carnival of the Animals, under the direction of Pops Conductor John Morris Russell. The recording marks the 93rd Pops recording in its history (adding to an abundant legacy including a Grammy-winner) and the third under Mr. Russell. Carnival of the Animals will appear on the Orchestra's own label, Fanfare Cincinnati, and be distributed by Naxos.

The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) has announced initial details on its 2014-15 Concert Series. Encompassing over 50 different concerts, this series begins with a performance by the internationally acclaimed Ariel Quartet with legendary guest artist Menahem Pressler on Sept. 9, 2014, and concludes with a number of performances by CCM's Preparatory Department running May 1 - 9, 2015.

In-demand Jazz trombone soloist Harry Watters and the 28-piece Salt River Brass will be joined on stage by Pat Sheridan and Sam Pilafian on tuba, Mike Kocour on piano, Dan Bukvich on percussion, when they perform songs from the Great American Songbook in Mesa Arts Center's Ikeda Theater today, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. June 9 through 13, Mesa Arts Center's Ikeda Theater will become a recording and video studio, as Arizona-based multimedia recording company Tresona films practice sessions and the resulting concert for theatrical release.
