VITAL THEATRE COMPANY, the award-winning theatre company and producer of the long running family show PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL, and HIT Entertainment, a leading provider of quality children's entertainment, are pleased to announce the premiere of 'ANGELINA BALLERINATM THE MUSICAL,' with book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music by Ben Morss, and directed and choreographed by Sam Viverito based on the famous dancing mouseling and her friends created by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig. Performances will run in New York City Frida! ys at 4:30 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 11 am and 1 pm as well as added 3pm matinees on selected Saturdays and Sundays from October 2nd, 2010 through January 2nd, 2011, and will tour the United States and Canada in 2011. Tickets are $29.50. The show is geared towards families with children, ages 3-12. School/Group performances are available at Vital Theatre or your location. In the past few months, the program received 42 submissions for consideration, out of which one new work was selected to be developed by Pace. This year, Pace New Musicals proudly presents the world premiere reading of Darling, a new musical with music and lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver and a book by B.T. Ryback. (more...)
