Amas Musical Theatre Honors Eric Krebs Tonight by BWW News Desk - Apr 01, 2013
Amas Musical Theatre will celebrate its 44th Year with a Gala evening on Monday, April 1st, 2013 featuring a special concert by two-time Tony Nominee Christine Andreas with Martin Silvestri at the piano, titled LOVE IS GOOD. The event will honor legendary producer Eric Krebs with The Rosie Award and will take place at the Baruch Performing Arts Center, East 25th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues beginning at 6:30pm. The evening's host will be Broadway and television star Dan Lauria (Lombardi, A Christmas Story, The Wonder Years), and the emcee will be Tony and Olivier Award Nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert). Paul Taylor-Mills will present BASH, a new production of Neil LaBute's collection of three darkly brilliant one-act plays, at Barons Court Theatre from Tuesday 5 - Sunday 17 June. James Le Feuvre and Faye Winter, who both appeared in Michael Grandage's production of Hamlet with Jude Law both in the West End End and on Broadway, will star under director Olivia Rowe. CCNY Launches New Haarlem Arts Theatre; First Up, BLUES FOR MISTER CHARLIE by BWW News Desk - May 30, 2011
The City College of New York (CCNY) and its Department of Theatre and Speech are launching the New Haarlem Arts Theatre (NHAT), a new professional theater company in residence at Aaron Davis Hall, which will produce its first season in the summer of 2011. The objective is to establish a professional theater uptown that will rank among the best in the country and to produce bold theatrical works that express the true history, culture, and diversity of America.
