It was announced today that The 82nd Hollywood Christmas Parade Benefiting Marine Toys for Tots Foundation will be held on the streets of Hollywood, CA on Sunday, December 1, 2013 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Pre-Show, followed by the Parade commencing at 6:00 p.m. This is one of the few times in the parade's history that the parade is being held in December, closer to the holidays.

The Hollywood Arts Council's 26th Annual Charlie Awards will take place at The Blossom Room in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at noon today, March 29, 2012. This year's honorees will include James Burrows, Cirque du Soleil, Feast of San Gennaro Los Angeles, The Ricard Montalban Theatre, Hollywood Center Studios and Eric Garcetti.

On January 17, 2013 Red Line Tours launched their second set of collectors tickets, 'Directors Series,' highlighting four celebrated and iconic film directors. The Hollywood Arts Council will pull out all the stops this year at their 27th Annual Children's Festival of the Arts as they celebrate and honor Paramount Pictures' 100th Birthday. The FREE One-Day Only Festival will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 12-Noon - 4:30 p.m. at Paramount Pictures (5555 Melrose Avenue) in the shaded garden setting adjacent to their historic gated entrance. The festival feature live performances of dance and music from around the world, celebrities, family art workshops, face painting and puppet making.
