The album will be recorded at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Long Island City, NY on May 20th and 21st. The release date will be announced soon. NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT is the new musical comedy directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes) featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis). The Tony Awards® Administration Committee has announced this year’s recipient for the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. This year’s award will be presented to producer Emanuel “Manny” Azenberg. The Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will be presented at the 2012 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10th. From July 15-23, the Independent Drama Society will celebrate the end of its three-year tenure with THE GOOD DOCTOR, directed by Marketing Director Christine Toohey. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will presented the debut of television and stage star Linda Purl on January 26, and performances will continue through Thursday January 27. Noted critic Rex Reed called her show "an hour of seamless enchantment. She has an impressive range, perfect intonation and awesome phrasing." In her diverse stage show, Ms. Purl performs timeless standards "Out Of This World," "Come Rain or Come Shine", popular theater songs "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," "Whistle a Happy Tune", as well as Country Western classics with her own jazz feel.
