THE BOAT FACTORY Set for Brits Off Broadway

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) is thrilled to announce the US premiere of THE BOAT FACTORY, written by Dan Gordon and directed by Philip Crawford, coming to Brits Off Broadway direct from the Grand Opera House, Belfast. Produced by Happenstance Theatre Company, THE BOAT FACTORY begins previews on Tuesday, June 4 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 30. Opening Night is Sunday, June 9 at 7:15 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM & 8:15 PM; Sunday at 3:15 PM & 7:15 PM. 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) is thrilled to announce playwright Mike Bartlett's (Artefacts in 2008) return to Brits Off Broadway with the US premiere of BULL. Produced by Sheffield Theatres and directed by Clare Lizzimore, BULL begins previews on Thursday, April 25 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 2. Opening Night is Thursday, May 2 at 7:15 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). The single ticket price from April 25 - May 5 is $35 seated, $30 standing ($24.50 - $20 for 59E59 Members). TRU VOICES New Plays Reading Series Announces 1/25 Submission Deadline for Members

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) seeks submissions for the 15th Annual TRU VOICES New Plays Reading Series (deadline January 18, 2013 for non-TRU members; January 25, 2013 for TRU members). TheTRU VOICES New Plays Reading Series is a unique series geared towards nurturing the producer-writer relationship, and is particularly interested in finding producers who are looking for opportunities to develop new works. Shows selected will receive staged readings to be presented in June of 2013. Each reading will be followed by a 'Dollars and Sense' panel discussion with prominent New York producers, general managers and artistic directors focusing on potential venues, marketing and budgeting of the work.
