On April 6, Their Most Imperial and Sovereign Majesties, Emperor XXI Ritz Kraka and Empress XXVI Witti Repartee, presented The Night of a Thousand Gowns -- a dazzling display of regal glamour, an opportunity to celebrate the LGBT community, and in particular, the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community. In its twenty-seven year history the Imperial Court of New York has donated over 1.5 million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. Iridesense Celebrates 20 Years of Long Island Music at Patchogue Theatre Tonight

It was 20 years ago today....wait, wrong band. In 1993, Iridesense was assembled to play then High Schooler Rick Eberle's 12th Grade Battle of The Bands, with Rick on guitar and vocals, his sister Tara Eberle on Bass, Rob Viccari on Lead Guitar and Rich Drouin on drums. What a difference twenty years makes! The past two decades have seen this same lineup go from these humble beginnings in Nassau County, NY to becoming a force in the music business. (more...)

NYC's Z100's Jingle Ball 2012 Returns with Star-Studded Annual Concert

Today, Z100, New York's Hit Music Station, announced the much-anticipated, star-studded lineup for its annual holiday concert, Z100's Jingle Ball 2012, presented by Aeropostale on Friday, December 7, at 7:30 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden. To commemorate the pop culture phenomenon, Mayor Bloomberg has issued a special proclamation officially declaring December 7, 2012 Z100's Jingle Ball Day in New York City.

The Night of a Thousand Gowns celebrating the LGBT community - the colorful cross-dressing segment of that community -took place on Saturday, March 31 in New York City. In its twenty-six year history, the Court has donated over a million dollars to worthy LGBT, HIV/AIDS and youth enrichment related causes. This year the Night of a Thousand Gowns raised important funds to benefit PFLAG NYC and New Alternatives. BWW was there to cover this event. Check out the red carpet photos below!
