New York City is glimmering on opening night of Bing Ringling's first produced play (and the 844th he's written). With a star producer behind him and his loving girlfriend in the show, Bing's big dreams and hard work have finally landed him on the Great White Way. But when the show is a flop, his producer backs out and his girlfriend leaves him, and even the interest of the world's biggest movie star can't bring the production back from its early grave. Holding the jagged pieces of his life's work in his hands, Bing embarks on phantasmagoric odyssey to the people and places that shaped him, trying to salvage his reputation in a system that has a mind of its own. Public Theater Launches UNDER THE RADAR Festival, 1/9

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham; UTR Festival Director, Mark Russell) will begin performances for the 2013 UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL on Wednesday, January 9. Now in its ninth year, this acclaimed downtown festival committed to tracking new theater from across the U.S. and around the world will run for 12 days through January 20 at The Public Theater at Astor Place. Marsha Stephanie Blake, Eisa Davis, Dashiell Eaves, Frank Harts, Robert Hogan, Jenny O'Hara, Carra Patterson, Amanda Quaid and Victor Williams will be featured in the LCT3 production of Kirsten Greenidge's LUCK OF THE IRISH, directed by Rebecca Taichman. LUCK OF THE IRISH begins performances Monday, January 28 and opens on Monday, February 11 for a six- week limited engagement through Sunday, March 10 at the Claire Tow Theater, LCT3's new home atop the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street). Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. The cast includes Fred Arsenault, Hannah Cabell, David Greenspan, Marin Ireland, Vin Knight, Jo Lampert, Polly Lee, Steven Rattazzi, Jake Silbermann, Teale Sperling, Brian Wiles, and Ashton Woerz. LCT3 Adds LUCK OF THE IRISH, A KID LIKE JAKE to Lineup

LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences, has announced two new productions which will open in 2013: Luck of the Irish, a new play by Kirsten Greenidge, to be directed by Rebecca Taichman and A Kid Like Jake by Daniel Pearle, to be directed by Evan Cabnet. Luck of the Irish will run from Monday, January 28 through Sunday, March 10 (opening on Monday, February 11) and A Kid Like Jake will run from Sunday, June 2 through Sunday, July 14 (opening on Monday, June 17), both at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).
