Following the San Francisco Board of Supervisors' unanimous final approval of the new building project and its future museum home at Millennium Partners' 706 Mission Street in San Francisco's Yerba Buena Arts District, The Mexican Museum is proud to announce the latest additions to the Museum's esteemed Arts & Letters Council. The Mexican Museum, the premier West Coast museum of Mexican, Mexican American, Chicano and Latino art, culture and heritage, introduced its Arts & Letters Council and its Honorary Chair, renowned Mexican American film actor, director and producer, Edward James Olmos, in June.

The Mexican Museum, the premier West Coast museum of Mexican, Chicano and Latino art, culture and heritage, announces its new Arts & Letters Council. The council, whose Honorary Chair is the highly-acclaimed Mexican American film actor, director and producer, Edward James Olmos, currently comprises 51 accomplished arts and letters professionals found across the United States and Mexico, all of whom stand firmly in support of the development and construction of The Mexican Museum's new home at 706 Mission Street in San Francisco's Yerba Buena Arts District.

Principal photography has begun on "Very Good Girls," written and directed by Naomi Foner, with Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Boyd Holbrook, Demi Moore, Ellen Barkin, Richard Dreyfuss, Clark Gregg, Kiernan Shipka and Peter Sarsgaard. Norton Herrick's Herrick Entertainment is producing and financing the project with Michael London's Groundswell Productions producing. "Very Good Girls" will shoot on location in New York.
