Full casting is set for the upcoming Arena Stage production Stick Fly by Lydia R. Diamond (The Bluest Eye and The Gift Horse).

Laurence O'Dwyer will assume the role of Henry from previously announced Terrence Currier in Arena Stage's production of The Fantasticks.

The 2009-10 Arena Stage Student Playwrights Project invites all students in 5th through 12th grades in the District of Columbia and its neighboring counties to enter an original ten-minute play into competition. Entries must be delivered to Arena Stage by Friday, December 4, 2009.

Star of stage, television and film Maurice Hines makes a special, week long visit to D.C. this October to lead two FREE master classes and hold an open dance audition to kick off work as the choreographer and lead performer in Arena Stage's musical revue Sophisticated Ladies, running April 15 - May 30, 2010 at the Lincoln Theatre.
