After a sold out run of her premiere show, UnCastable, Amanda Bruton returns to The Duplex this October for two nights with her new show, Still UnCastable, exploring the concept of uncastability in the entertainment industry and in life. A premiere concert of the brand new song cycle NIGHTS AT THE PIANO by Svetlana Orel is coming to the Duplex Cabaret Theatre on October 18th. The four characters of the show sing about love, identity and coming-of-age troubles of the young performers living in New York City.

Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected Devin Ilaw (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon) and AJ Shively (Bright Star, La Cage aux Folles) as guests of honor at the September edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame's Soiree. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

The show features Aaron Alcaraz, Nicholas Barasch, Alana Cauthen, Grace Choi, Karl Josef Co, CJ Eldred, MaryJoanna Grisso, Cory Jeacoma, Noah Plomgren, and Brynn Williams. 'Broadway Celebrates New Musical Theatre' will bring to light the importance of new musical theatre writing and provide a platform for hopeful writers to work with a group of professionals to showcase their work in front of a larger audience.

Join Oliver in recounting past gigs while reflecting on his dream to be the front man of a band and his love for the rock genre in musical theatre. Featuring music from shows like Rent, Hair, and Side Show, as well as rock tunes he grew up listening to, this show will have you rocking out and (hopefully) taking shots of whiskey. Oliver puts an audience at ease with his self deprecating humor and the ability to make his talented friends belt really high. Recognized in the NYC cabaret circuit for bringing life to concerts such as the Beyond the Binary series, Seams & Songs, and Feinstein's/54 Below's Quarter Life Crisis with his artistic guidance, Oliver Mayes makes his Feinstein's/54 Below and New York City solo concert debut in If I Were A Front Man.

The show is written and performed by Mary Theresa Archbold, and is the culmination of her Denovan Residencey Grant, a 6 month Developmental Grant jointly administered by Madame's Soiree and The Duplex for Original Solo Work in cabaret.

New Generation Theater Company brings back its summer cabaret series at the Duplex Cabaret Theater with a stellar line up, after a successful 2017 season. All productions will play at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, located at 61 Christopher Street, New York City. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 at the door. 2 drink minimum, ages 21+.
