Heidi Blickenstaff to Lead NEXT TO NORMAL at Weston Playhouse, 7/11-27 by BWW News Desk - May 15, 2013
BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Broadway veteran Heidi Blickenstaff will lead Vermont's award-winning Weston Playhouse Theatre Company production of Next to Normal. Blickenstaff will play 'Diana' in the show, which is set to run July 11-27 and will be directed by Michael Berresse. (more...)

The Broadway community gathered celebrate the life and show business legacy of beloved Broadway performer Kevin Gray yesterday, May 13 at 2PM at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). The Majestic Theatre held a special place for Mr. Gray, having starred there in The Phantom of the Opera, first as Raoul and later as The Phantom. Scholarship Programs Launched at Duke University and Hartt School in Memory of Kevin Gray by BWW News Desk - Apr 22, 2013
'The Kevin Gray Musical Theater Award Endowment Fund' at Duke University and 'The Kevin Gray Memorial Scholarship Award' at the Hartt School at the University of Hartford have been created to provide financial support to promising students as they pursue training in musical theater. Any level of contribution will help guarantee that this type of educational experience is made available to students who choose to follow in Kevin's footsteps as they attend one of these two institutions. Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC announces its 2013/2014 season of plays. In its 17th season, the theatre, which is housed in the historic Murphey School auditorium at 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC, will present the American premiere of The Heretic by Richard Bean, directed by Jerome Davis (September 9 - 26, 2013), William Shakespeare's (Three Man) Tempest, adapted and directed by Randolph Curtis Rand (December 5 - 22, 2013), the world premiere of Terry Milner's The Jesus Fund, directed by Beth Gardiner (January 30 - February 16, 2014) and Goodrich and Hackett's modern classic The Diary of Anne Frank, directed by Abdelfattah Abusrour (April 3 - 20, 2014). A May Sky Picture has announced the workshop production of Schuyler Iona Press' WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN, choreography by Joel Hanna, music arranged by Jeb Patton, co-directed by Darren Press, written and directed by C. Fraser Press. WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's 13th Street Rep (50 West 13th Street, NYC). Peachtree Hotel Group, one of the nation's fastest growing hotel acquisition, management, development and ownership groups, today announced that it acquired/invested in six hotels in the southeastern United States during the 2013 first quarter. At this pace, the company is well ahead of its previously announced goal of adding 15 hotels to its portfolio during the coming year.
