On Monday August 30, T. Oliver Reid proved his mettle by winning the exciting finale of the third annual 'MetroStar Talent Challenge' at The Metropolitan Room, beating out Cindy Marchionda (the first runner-up) and Amy Beth Williams, the second runner-up.

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas for the first time on June 27th, 2010 over the CBS Television Network. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.

Andrea Marcovicci - the celebrated singer and actress lauded as 'the greatest cabaret star of her generation' by The International Herald Tribune and 'the epitome of elegance and showbiz savvy' by Variety - returns to the Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street) for an exclusive seven-week run from November 11 to December 27 with a special new program 'Marcovicci Sings Movies II.'
