This Broadway revival directed by Michael Wilson also stars Vanessa Williams from the original New York production and Blair Underwood replacing Cuba Gooding Jr. It's a stellar cast, achieving a truly beautiful representation of Foote's infreqeuntly seen work.

Cynthia Stillwell Casting has put out a call on Backstage.com for the Lifetime film version of "The Trip to Bountiful," starring Vanessa Williams and Cicely Tyson. According to the project description, "A woman's determination to go home one last time restores hope and faith to her family."
