Kent Thompson, Artistic Director for the Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC), announced today the addition of the world premiere of SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL to the 2012/13 season line up, running April 5 – May 26 in The Stage Theatre. Denver Center Attractions announces a day-of-performance lottery for WICKED. Each day, 2½ hours prior to each performance, patrons at The Buell Theatre box office will enter their names into a lottery drum. Thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. (more...)

The Denver Center for the Performing ArtsÂ’ popular Women with Hattitude luncheon returns for Act Seven, Thursday May 3, at 11:30am in the Seawell Grand Ballroom. More than $20,000 will be raised to support the WomenÂ’s Voices Fund at the Denver Center Theatre Company, which enables the company to commission and produce plays written by women. Monday, April 23, at 8pm the National Touring Company of WICKED will host “THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW”, a staged concert performance of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show – Book, music & lyrics by Richard O’Brien. The producers of the national tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and Denver Center Attractions have confirmed today that show show sold out its three-week engagement within 5 hours after tickets went on sale yesterday, January 24 at 10am. THE BOOK OF MORMON will play the Ellie Caulkins Opera House from August 14 –September 2, 2012. Following the Denver engagement, THE BOOK OF MORMON tour will play the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles for a twelve week run from September 18 through November 25, 2012.
