Ghostlight Records's recording of that the debut album from composer Ryan Scott Oliver, 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (Original Cast Recording), is available for purchase in stores beginning today. Online orders can be placed at http://sh-k-boom.com/35mm.shtml. When it was released digitally on Tuesday, August 14, 35MM debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Soundtracks chart. (more...)

An album release concert is being planned for mid-September, about which additional details will be announced shortly. Producer John Johnson announced today that the debut album from composer Ryan Scott Oliver, 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (Original Cast Recording), will be released digitally on Tuesday, August 14th by Ghostlight Records. Producer John Johnson announced today that 35mm A Musical Exhibition, written by Ryan Scott Oliver based on the photography of Matthew Murphy, has added a new, final performance on Wednesday, March 14 at 8:00 p.m. due to popular demand. Upon closing, the musical will have played 34 previews and 30 performances. Upon closing, the musical will have played 34 previews and 30 performances. The cast recording of Lincoln Center Theater's production of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, the new musical based on the film by Pedro Almodóvar, with book by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek and direction by Bartlett Sher, will be released on May 10, 2011 according to Amazon.com. The cast reunited on January 19, to record the original cast recording of the musical, which ended its limited engagement run on Sunday, January 2 at the Belasco Theatre. The CD, to be released by Ghostlight Records and will be produced by David Yazbek and Dean Sharenow with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer. (more...)
